Author Bill Kusler and illustrator Cathy Clark are a husband and wife team collaborating on their first book. Bill and Cathy live in Snohomish, Washington.

Bill is a long time kindergarten teacher in the Lake Stevens School District. He is an avid bicyclist, part time sportscaster, and involves himself in local amateur musical productions.

Cathy is a retired high school teacher who is a member of the Port Gardner Bay Watercolor Society. She is a passionate wildlife photographer and hiker who is currently involved in Vaux Swift research for the Pilchuck Audubon Society.
