Super Typhoon Meranti, the 14th typhoon of 2016, made landfall in Fujian on September 14, 2016. The power facilities of Fujian power grid were seriously damaged, causing large areas of power failure in Xiamen, Quanzhou, Zhangzhou and other places. As the typhoon came during the Mid-autumn Festival, and in order to ensure the timely and effective supply of emergency materials for power line repair of the affected areas, our company made a positive response to the demand of Fujian Electric Power Company Supply Chain Operation Center in the first time, organized employees to work overtime all night to produce and ship emergency relief and power line repair materials. We tried to overcome the difficulties of traffic interruption and poor communication, raced against time, and assigned dedicated personnel and vehicles for shipment. The emergency materials were delivered to the repair site on time with guaranteed quality and quantity, which gained invaluable time for the rapid restoration of power supply in the disaster areas.
Recently, our company received a thank-you note from the Material Branch of State Grid Fujian Electric Power Company to thank our company for not bargaining in front of the disaster but ignoring the cost, tackling difficulties and making selfless contribution, and express their heartfelt thanks and high respect to our company for our social responsibility.
